This is a really cool website that gives you so many poems. All you have to do is type in a key word and BINGO poems on _________. It's that easy!

No-Name The Cat
The cat and I stare at the room
No-name the cat, the cat and I,
She stares at me, I at the gloom
The house lies still as a vaulted tomb.

She sits and waits, No-name the cat,
Sits and waits for a sign from me
But I in the corner chair am sat
And make no sign for No-name the cat.

dog stay dog stay
Dog stay and dog stays
Dog run and dog runs
Dog stand and dog stands

Dog catch and dog catches
Dog roll and dog rolls
Dog licks and dog licks
Dog hug and dog hugs

Little Bird, Little Bird, in the Cinnamon Tree....
Little bird, little bird, it’s time to fly,
To spread your wings, and see the world.
Soar with the wind, and sing your song,
Little bird, little bird, it’s time to learn.

Little bird, little bird, it’s time to learn.
Watch the dawn, the brilliant sun,
See the sunset, and all inbetween.
Little bird, little bird, it’s time to live.

At lunch today I had dino nuggets, and surprisingly, my mom let me play with my food. The result was a ranch painted  dinosaur. It's a little mesed up but painting on wings and feet on a dinosour chiken nugget is harder than it looks, but still I like the way it came out. : 0 Yeah!Go Mr.Dino-nugget!!! Fly!

birde blues

Last night I was playing hide and seek tag. I hid in a huge pine tree. I was invisible but unfortunately the people that were hiding with me weren't so we all had run out of the hiding spot. Then I saw it--a bright blue egg in a nest on the ground without a mother. :( I was excited that I found it and that I could take pictures of it to show on my blog.

This is the picture of the nest and the egg. I loved the colors in the photo so I decided to make a color scheme on the computer with a program called Illustrator. The squares below the picture are some of the colors in the photo. My favorite color is the first one because it is the color that stands out the most in the photo. I think this color scheme might be nice in a baby boy's bedroom...I can see those colors in there.

Also on my street is a climbable tree and at the top is another nest. Over the weeks I watched the egg until it hatched. We named the bird Rob, and his mother's name is Sally.

Rob and his mother Sally are still together and happy in their nest.

think pink!

THIS IS A POST FOR GIRLS

All week I've been working on a barbie house. These are the pictures of the house.I was inspired  when I saw the zebra paper and this pink tissue paper. And since everyone knows that that  PINK AND ZEBRA just scream Barbies!!I just had to make them a small house.

The room in bird's eye view. The nook is the small space made out of a hair dye (the spray kind) cap and an old candle. Use the things that you find around the house.
This is a wall covered in pictures of  small shoes. Making this effect is as simple as just printing and gluing.

Her dress is made with ribbon and the lacy stuff from my sisters dress that she grew out of.

I did not make all of this outfit, just some of it. Again, the lacy stuff, and the  part with the pink strips came with the Barbie.

How 2: Making a Panini Sandwich

PANINI SANDWICH: HOW TO MAKE THEM

This is how to make a really good sandwich called a panini. A panini is basically a grilled sandwich with cheese and meat (you could add vegetables too!). I love the combination of flavors that the meat and cheese make with the soft bread. This is the way I make a panini at home. Make sure you ask your parents if it's okay to use the oven or stove.

YOU WILL NEED:
Sliced swiss cheese (or any cheese)
Sliced roast beef (or any deli meat)
2 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
butter or Pam cooking spray (optional)

EQUIPMENT (your choice, I will describe each method below)
A plate (necessary)
Skillet
Microwave
Waffle iron

Here are the ingredients I used

1. Take a slice of bread and place it on the plate

2. Put the cheese on the bread.
4. Now add the beef.
5. Add the last slice of bread. Butter the outside of both slices, if you prefer.

                                                                             Cook it

...in the waffle iron
Turn on the waffle iron. Place the sandwich in the waffle iron and close the lid. Lift the lid every once in a while to check that the sandwich is at your preferred brownness. Estimated time 10-15 min.

...in the skillet
Heat the pan at medium temperature. Spray Pam into the pan. Check on it every minute or so by lifting the sandwich with a spatula, until preferred brownness. Estimated time 10-15 min.
...in the microwave
Make sure that your plate is microwave safe :D.
Put the the sandwich (on the plate) in to the microwave for 30 seconds. It doesn't get a crispy crust with this method, but it is fast and still warm and goey! Estimated time 30 seconds.

Please tell me what you think of this recipe. Would you change anything in the ingredients?

4. Click on the small red button at the bottom and smile! You will have 3 seconds until "click"! Your picture has been taken.
